A 6 round Swiss 60 minutes per side plus 30 seconds per move increment from move 1 (Fischer).
* FIDE and ACF rated.
* All entrants must be a member of the CAQ.
* If scores are tied, the prize money and the title will be shared. 
* Players can win only one prize. 
* The title can only be won by a Queensland player.
* Entrants must be born before 1975.

The 2024 Queensland Teams Championships have finally been confirmed and on behalf of the CAQ, Cookie's Chess is pleased to announce the following details:

When: Saturday November 30th
Time: 9am Registration 9:45am round 1 - 3pm presentation
Where: Kings Christian College, Reedy Creek (Auditorium) 68 Gemvale Road, Reedy Creek (NOT PIMPAMA CAMPUS)
Who: Teams of 6 players to be arranged by each team captain in board order
Cost: $180 per team ($30 per player) Payable on the day
Time Control: 10 minutes + 2 seconds per move
Registration: Complete this form and send a screenshot of payment to

No later than Thursday 28th November

Trophies will be given to the winning teams (Open and A) + Board prizes and lucky draw prizes!

This event is one of my favorite tournaments of the year to run and it's awesome to catch up and see strong adults and junior players from across Queensland.
