    The 2024 CAQ Chess Championships runs from the 3rd to the 7th of October. 
     
    It is a 9 round Swiss tournament with time control of 90 minutes plus a 30 seconds per move increment from move 1 (Fischer).

    Location: Grace Lutheran College - Rothwell Campus, Anzac Ave &, Mewes Rd, Rothwell QLD 4022, Australia
    Description:

    A 6 round Swiss 60 minutes per side plus 30 seconds per move increment from move 1 (Fischer).
    * FIDE and ACF rated.
    * All entrants must be a member of the CAQ.
    * If scores are tied, the prize money and the title will be shared. 
    * Players can win only one prize. 
    * The title can only be won by a Queensland player.
    * Entrants must be born before 1975.
