You must be a CAQ member to play in Queensland title events.

For any other tournament submitted for ratings to the Chess Association of Queensland, all players must be a member of CAQ or an equivalent chess organisation.

CAQ offers annual and three year membership options for individuals and families.

CAQ Annual Membership is $20 per calendar year for individuals and $40 for families.
CAQ Three Year Membership is $50 for individuals and $90 for families.

Memberships lapse on 31 December each year, when renewal is necessary, except that new members joining on or after 1 October in any year shall remain financial members until 31 December of the following year.
